About Scouts

Scouts is open to young people (boys and girls) between the ages of 10½ and 14.

We give young people of all backgrounds the chance to stretch themselves, learn new skills and make lifelong friends.

Each Scout Troop had units called Patrols - each Patrol is led by a Patrol Leader. Scouts spend a lot of their time outdoors camping, map reading, cooking and learning skills such as First Aid.

Camp activities often include rock climbing, potholing, gliding, photography and there are some international travel opportunities.
